As part of the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) Office of Inspector General’s (OIG) Government Infrastructure Protection Initiative, GSA OIG Special Agent Stephen Lobaugh participated in the investigation, prosecution, and conviction of Chun-Yu Zhao after a three week trial for counterfeiting computer networking equipment. Zhao was sentenced today to 60 months in prison, and she was ordered to pay $2,709,238 in restitution and a $17,500 fine.
